Soothing, hydrating eczema-relief without chemical additives

Formulated for: Adults and children with eczema, psoriasis, dry skin, or sensitive skin. Great for face and body.
Scent: Unscented (but because it contains cocoa butter, has a light, sweet, chocolate-like scent)
Moisturizing: Very High. This is our 2nd most moisturizing bar (after Ultra-Moisturizing bar) and is far more moisturizing that ordinary soap or body wash.
Description: This soap is packed with two of the most skin nourishing oils: organic extra virgin olive oil and organic cocoa butter. But we didn't stop there. We also added four herbal ingredients that are scientifically proven to soothe and relieve eczema:
- organic powdered oatmeal
- organic aloe vera
- organic comfrey root
- organic calendula (marigold flower)
If you have a current eczema outbreak, this is a great bar to start with to allow the herbal additives to calm your skin. You can then consider switching to our Ultra-Moisturizing bar. Each of us has unique skin so which bar you prefer comes down to personal preference.
Lather: Medium. (Lather and moisturizing capability are inversely related. Our soaps are formulated to produce less lather than a typical soap, leaving your skin more moisturized.)
Exfoliation: Minimal, via the powdered herbs and marigold petals.
Ingredients (All Food-Grade): organic extra virgin olive oil, organic coconut oil, water, organic cocoa butter, sodium hydroxide*, organic castor oil, organic powdered oatmeal, organic aloe vera, organic comfrey root, organic calendula.
*none remains in the final product because it reacts with the oils and turns into soap in a process called saponification. This is how all real soap is made. If it's not made via saponification, it's not real soap, it's a synthetic detergent.
