Size: Dish soap bar is 4.8 oz and lasts 4 to 6 weeks. Comes with dish cloth! Shampoo bar is 3.5 oz and lasts 3 to 5 weeks.
Formulated for: The shampoo bar is formulated for Normal to Dry hair (not designed for oily hair). Most people don't need to use conditioner with this bar because it's highly moisturizing. Some people with oily hair report that the bar works well for them but that it took a few weeks for their hair to adjust.
The dish soap bar cleans grease from the dirtiest pots and pans without stripping oils from your skin.
Scent: Both are unscented. The shampoo bar has a light herbal aroma from it's all-natural herbal ingredients.
Shampoo Bar Ingredients (All Food-Grade): organic extra virgin olive oil, organic coconut oil, water, organic shea butter, sodium hydroxide*, organic castor oil, organic moringa leaf powder, organic aloe vera, organic rosemary flower extract.
Dish Soap Bar Ingredients (All Food-Grade): organic coconut oil, water, organic extra virgin olive oil, organic shea butter, sodium hydroxide*, organic castor oil.
*none remains in the final product because it reacts with the oils and turns into soap in a process called saponification. This is how all real soap is made. If it's not made via saponification, it's not real soap, it's a synthetic detergent.
Certified Organic by Oregon Tilth. The USDA does not certify soap directly. Soap can only be certified organic by Accredited Certifying Agents (ACA's) of the USDA, like Oregon Tilth. Our organic certification is printed on the box, as required.
